FEEL is a comprehensive program designed for elementary students to develop emotional literacy. Rooted in the core competencies of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and responsible decision making, the program comprises two key elements. First, a shared understanding framework establishes a common language for students and teachers. Second, an innovative emotional tracking system empowers teachers to gain insights into students' emotional experiences. FEEL aims to elevate emotional intelligence, creating a more empathetic and supportive educational environment.

Our tracking system empowers teachers to see trends in students' emotional states. This data allows staff to proactively help students manage themselves so they are ready to achieve their academic goals.

Children, like adults, make decisions based on their feelings. If we don't give kids the vocabulary and tools they need to recognize their feelings, what is causing them, and what to do about them, we are missing an important developmental need. We developed FEEL because kids need feelings to be the central theme to their social emotional learning in order to improve their emotional intelligence.

Despite a growing recognition of the benefits of social emotional learning, there are surprisingly few complete resources available for educators. We aim to solve that, and provide a year long curriculum covering the five CASEL competencies.

We believe that social emotional learning cannot be achieved on an island. By involving the teacher, classroom, and entire school, students more quickly develop the skills to communicate and understand their own and others emotions.
